James M. (Mike) Perryman has worked in technical aspects of communications and broadcast systems since 1982. His Washington based experience includes over a decade as an engineer with Cavell, Mertz Before coming to Washington, he was a technical services coordinator and field service representative in a Texas-based consulting firm that provided professional field support to AD Ring & Associates, Jules Cohen and Associates, and Moffet, Larson & Johnson. His experience ranges from site acquisition, to "ground-up" systems design and "turn-key" construction supervision of commercial medium-wave directional facilities. He possesses a wide range of office skills, including the mapping and GIS disciplines, relating specifically to the broadcast industry. He is a US Army Veteran (active duty 1989-1993) with regimental affiliation to the United States Army Signal Corps, where he specialized in communications systems. He has received numerous awards and citations for his performance while with the Army. He belongs to IEEE and AFCCE. He is also a Licensed Amateur Radio Operator (K5JMP) with a passion for design and experimentation in the area of radio propagation, and emergency communications. Updated September 29, 2008 |
